BIO:
Originally from Massachusetts, after high school I hopped on a plane to Milan, Italy and started my career in front of the camera as a commercial model. Modeling throughout the United States, Europe and South Africa granted me a great opportunity to see the world at a young age. Never feeling entirely comfortable in front of the camera and desperate for a hamburger, I retired from modeling at 21 and moved back to the US to start college. At that point it became clear, with all of the hours I spent in studios and on location, observing other photographers, that photography was significant to me.

ABOUT: I love hiking in the mountains with our silver lab and watching our kids grow. I'm a self taught pianist, thanks to YouTube tutorials and love meeting up for book club, which is really just a wine club that reads sometimes.

FAQ

What is your shooting style?

I prefer a lifestyle vibe, you being you, me a fly on the wall. However, I do see the value in taking a few posed images where everyone is looking at the camera. We are collaborators and everyone wants something a little different. So lets chat before your session and get to know each other. We can do posed, candid or a good mix of both. During our shoot I can give lots of direction, some direction or no direction at all.

Where are you based and do you travel?

I'm Scottsdale, AZ based and yes I love to travel! It will require a travel fee, but no worries I always try to find the cheapest way to come. I love the way my creativity develops when I discover new locations and meet new people.

When will we get our photos?

Typically you will receive an online gallery link within one week of your shoot. (sometimes two weeks, depending on the season) You can download all of the photos from the gallery to your home computer. You will also have the ability to share images, choose your favorites and order prints from your gallery page.

How do you pick which pictures to share?

I will always choose quality over quantity. You will receive at least the amount of images promised in your package and sometimes a few more! I do not give out RAW images from the camera. Digital photography is not like film. The digital file as a medium is designed to be extensivly edited. How a photographer edits her pictures determines the style and preferences she wants to share with her clients. Allowing someone else to edit and manipulate images changes the ownership. Rest assured and trust that I will choose the best and most significant photos that tell your story.

Cancellation Policy

Cancelations within 48 hours of shoot are non refundable, unless for circumstances out of the control of the client. (Weather, fire, illness, accident or injuries.) We will be happy to rebook your shoot within 6 months of original date.
